IAN BUTTON – MANAGING DIRECTOR

With more than 30 years of experience across all levels of the industry, Ian Button has been leading the team at Independent Aviation for over a decade. He has worked as aircrew on Australian Customs Coastwatch surveillance, search and rescue and Immigration and Fisheries patrols through to Flight Operations Manager for Australian Airlines, Qantas’ holiday airline, operating B767s to Asia. In between, he founded a successful general aviation charter airline in North Queensland and was General Manager of a major tourism helicopter company.
